Bob Swanson
Bob Swanson retired in 2015 after working in the construction industry for 45 years. He was CEO of Swanson & Youngdale, Inc. (www.swansonyoungdale.com) during the last 25 years of his career.
As a suicide loss survivor, he speaks on a national basis to construction industry contractors, associations, and labor unions. He is currently a volunteer presenter with NAMI Minnesota (www.namimn.org) and the IUPAT Helping Hand program (iupathelpinghand.com). Bob also writes a monthly blog, You Are Not Alone, for the Finishing Contractors Association International (www.finishingcontrsctorsassociation.org) and speaks often to construction industry groups regarding mental illness and suicide prevention.
