Producing a WIP report is a known challenge for every construction team, especially the specialty trade contractor. With many moving parts - labor, material, subcontractors, and equipment - it’s no wonder it’s called an “Estimate”. In this panel session, we’ll talk with specialty trade CFP’s about the process their team embarks on. We’ll discuss subjects such as what and how data is pulled and collected, formats, tools and communications, as they relate to WIP. Many sessions discuss theoretical “how-to’s” and “best-case scenario”, not today. We are getting into the weeds of real life.

Learning Objectives

  • Learn how to work with Project teams to get buy in and cooperation.
  • Identify sources of data, reporting methods and report formats to produce, analyze and share results.
  • Discover processes and tools used to assist in collecting and reporting.
  • Explore how Service and small jobs affect the WIP.

Course Length

The estimated time to complete the course and final exam is approximately 75 minutes, depending on the pace of the learner.
