Information Technology This section dives into common language of information technology and highlights necessary systems needed for an organization to succeed in the 21st century. It also looks at other areas such as cybersecurity and risks associated with computer software, etc. Learning Objectives: Understand the role of CFO with technology. Learn about security risks and disaster recovery and the CFO’s role with regard to companywide technology training and maintenance. Discuss best practices for software selection and implementation. Human Resources Recruiting and retaining emplolyees along with adhereing to complex compliance requirements and implementing best practices are major responsbilities of CFPs. This session will highlight what the CFP needs to know to be successful in addressing Human Resource issues.
