This course provides construction financial professionals with a general understanding of tax practices unique to the construction industry. Participants will learn to distinguish specialized construction accounting from traditional approaches, apply appropriate revenue recognition methods, and interpret industry-specific financial statements as they relate to construction taxation. The course also explores tax filing requirements, deductions, and planning strategies to support compliance and optimize tax outcomes. Ideal for CCIFP exam preparation or professional development, this course emphasizes real-world application of accounting and tax principles in construction settings. This three-module course introduces the key processes and practices that make taxation in construction unique. The third module is a comprehensive final exam that requires achieving 70% or better to earn CPE credit. You will have one year with unlimited attempts to pass the multiple-choice question assessment and earn CPE credit. You will also have one year to review the module content, resources, knowledge checks, and final exam to help you prepare for the exam. Please note that successfully completing this program does not guarantee that you will pass the actual CCIFP exam.
