This course equips construction finance professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to identify, assess, and manage the unique risks facing construction firms. Participants will explore the five-step risk management process and apply risk evaluation methods to minimize potential losses. The course covers construction-specific insurance types, surety bonding, legal requirements, and alternative risk treatment options. Learners will gain practical insight into aligning insurance, surety, and internal controls with broader risk mitigation strategies to ensure project and organizational stability. This four-module course introduces the key processes and practices that make risk management in construction unique. The fourth module is a comprehensive final exam that requires achieving 70% or better to earn CPE credit. You will have one year with unlimited attempts to pass the multiple-choice question assessment and earn CPE credit. You will also have one year to review the module content, resources, knowledge checks, and final exam to help you prepare for the exam. Please note that successfully completing this program does not guarantee that you will pass the actual CCIFP exam.
